Why is Reliance Jio charging only for data and giving voice free ? There is a technical explanation to it. Jio has only 4G capability and no 3G or 2G. Other existing operators have all the three. The existing operators transmit voice over 2G and 3G and 4G is used only for Internet data. But on the other hand Jio uses a technology called VoLTE where even the voice is transmitted as data packets over the 4G network. Please note this is different from mobile data which is only for mobile internet. Technically this transmission of voice through 4G is called Packet switching. Means packet switching is different from Mobile data which is only for mobile internet. This is the reason why even if one switches off mobile data in a Jio connection, calls are placed. The pic below shows two islands facing each other silently. These are not ordinary islands. They are located in the Bering Straits. They belong to two Super Powers - Russia and USA and represent two different days of the calendar at any given time because the international date line passes through them. They are just 2.4 km apart from each other. The bigger one called Big Diomede with an area of 29 km2 and no population, belongs to Russia and is part of Siberia - 25 km from main land. International Date Line is about 1.8 km east of this island. The smaller one is called Little Diomede with an area 7.3 km2, a population of 170, and belongs to the USA and is part of Alaska - 25 km from main land. International Date Line is about 0.6 km west of this island. On a clear day, looking at Big Diomede from Little Diomede - one can see 'tomorrow' as the time difference between the two islands is exactly 24 hrs. Awesome , that is the power of GOD's CREATION :)

The first minister thought that since the king has ordered for collection of fruits, he must collect the best of the fruits in the bag. The second minister thought that since the king is a very busy person, he may not look very thoroughly into the bag what has been collected and hence he collected whatever he could lay his hands.
