**** Few things we should never do in an Interview or a Meeting *****

Hey Gang , now it's time for few interview tips !! More than tips , it's like what not to do or what usually people don't like you doing in interviews. If there are some more, let me know, will check and add to my points :) Let's start !!!!

Our major issue is that when we worry so much about making sure every little thing goes right !!! we always tend to miss few things that could go wrong. Maybe we can quickly look into the below stuffs, and tend to stop doing them knowingly in our future Interviews 😇😇😇😇😇 Best of luck Gang!!!
  • Never Be Late to the Interviews or any meetings !!!
Not just Interviews , however try to make sure that we are not late to any committed meetings, so that we don't lose our confidence or the opponent's opinion on us. Also, turning up late to an interview is never an option. It only leaves you looking unprofessional and unorganised. Plan your meeting or Interview , such a way that we reach extra half an hour to the venue.
  • Silent your phone - Not Loud or Vibrate mode.
When we have an interview or a meeting , it's always better to silent our phone, since people always expects attention. Especially if we have a questionable ringtone that could potentially cause offence or embarrassment. Better be safe rather than giving excuses.
  • Never try to use excessive slang or Accent !!!
The formality of our speech is partly dependent on the role we’re going for and the type of company they are. But as a general rule, we’d avoid using slang or using accents which doesn't suit us. Better be normal rather than being Hi-fi and getting caught.
  • Never be arrogant or over-confident !!!
One of the most important advantage is Being confident in our abilities and expressing why we are the right fit for a role is good. However never try to be overconfident or arrogant. It always leaves a negative impression.
  • Never Dress Inappropriately or too much Flashy
As there is a saying , More than we talking about ourselves, our outfits gives or leaves a First Impression. Interview outfit etiquette isn’t exactly set in stone, but there is one simple rule to remember: it’s always better to be dressed in a simple and neat way rather than being too flashy or over dressed.
  • Never Moan about the current employer or the Team or project
Always try to remember that people judge others based on their experiences !!! Always avoid the temptation to express how much we dislike our current boss, or complain about our colleagues, or our current employer. Always try to be as positive as possible. Sound like a team player, not someone who holds a grudge.
  • Never Lie or Exaggerate things
Always try to be honest about our genuine achievements and experience, as it is always easy to remember and tell few things which really happened rather than cooking up stories
  • Never have a dull face or yawn or Fall Asleep
Always try to be brisk and healthy when going for an interview or a meeting. Be aware of our body language and stay focussed throughout, listening politely to what the interviewer has to say and remaining positive and enthusiastic keeps the other person live and gives a wonderful opinion about us.
  • Never Forget to listen or Fail to make eye contact
Try to always sit patiently and listen to what the other person wanted to say or tell . Never try to ask a question that the interviewer have already answered, or have absolutely no understanding of the role because we were too busy daydreaming about some other thoughts. Try to concentrate and always make eye contact with all of our interviewers.
  • Never Focus on the Money
Money is always our life need. However we should also want it for other reasons in life. These are what will impress the interviewer and make them more likely to consider you. However personal financial issues will not be the interview friendly topic. Also make sure that we speak about the Money or related topics only when our Interviewer asks about salary expectations.
  • Never Apologise too much
Always try to answer straight to the point. If by any chance we are not sure about the answers. Never mind, just inform the Interviewer, that we have no idea, however given a chance might try to know about it and work on. Never ever apologise for a lack of experience or an inability to answer a question straight away. Especially if we are saying ‘sorry’ repeatedly that might indicate a lack of confidence and suggest we are not sure of our capabilities.

Hope we follow these and with our experiences , we will take up any interview like a cake walk. Best of luck gang 😊😊😊
