❤️ One Day. Two Temples. Countless Blessings!
My Divine Journey to Sholingur & Thirupachur 🙏
A beautiful day filled with devotion, hill climbing, travel, nature, and gratitude.
Some trips are planned for fun. Some are planned for adventure. And some journeys leave us with a different kind of happiness — a peaceful heart, a refreshed mind, and a feeling of being blessed.
My one-day divine trip to Sholingur Lord Yoga Narasimhar Temple and Thirupachur Lord Shiva Temple was one such beautiful experience.
It was a day of early morning travel, climbing a hill, seeking divine blessings, visiting sacred places, and enjoying the simple happiness that comes from exploring new places.
Come, let me take you through my beautiful divine day! ❤️
🌅 5 AM — An Early Start to a Blessed Day
Our day started early, around 5 AM, when we set off by car towards Sholingur.
The plan was simple. We wanted to reach the temple early, avoid the scorching sun, and climb the hill before the heat became too much.
Honestly, starting early makes a huge difference, especially when the plan involves climbing a hill. Instead of struggling under the hot sun, we could enjoy the morning and make the most of our temple visit.
There is something beautiful about early morning road trips — quiet roads, fresh air, the excitement of visiting a new place, and a heart full of devotion.
The journey had begun, and so had our divine day! 🙏
☕ 7:30 AM — A Light Breakfast Before the Adventure
We reached Sholingur around 7:30 AM.
Before beginning the climb, we stopped for a cool, light breakfast. After all, a little energy is essential before taking on a hill!
A simple breakfast, a little relaxation, and getting ready for the climb — sometimes these small moments make a trip memorable.
Our next destination was the hilltop temple of Lord Yoga Narasimhar.
🥾 8 AM Onwards — Step by Step Towards the Divine
After breakfast, we started climbing the hill.
Sholingur is special because the temple visit itself becomes part of the experience. The climb tests our physical energy, while the thought of reaching the temple keeps us motivated.
Every step took us closer to the divine.
There may be tiredness during a climb, but there is also a lovely sense of achievement when we keep moving forward. For someone who enjoys travel, exploring places, and stepping outside the usual routine, this is a different kind of happiness.
No fancy plans. No complicated itinerary. Just a hill, a temple, and the determination to reach the top!
And finally, we made it.
🛕 9:30 AM — Divine Darshan of Lord Yoga Narasimhar
Around 9:30 AM, we reached the hilltop.
The moment we had been waiting for — the darshan of Lord Yoga Narasimhar!
There is a special feeling when we reach a temple after putting in physical effort. The climb, the anticipation, and finally standing before the deity make the experience feel even more meaningful.
For me, temple visits are not just about asking for things. They are also about expressing gratitude for what we already have — life, strength, opportunities, and the ability to travel and experience such beautiful places.
Standing in the presence of the Lord, I felt grateful for the opportunity to make this journey and seek His blessings.
Some blessings cannot be explained in words. They can only be felt in the heart. ❤️🙏
🙏 A Visit to the Hanuman Temple
Our divine experience continued with a visit to the Hanuman temple.
Lord Hanuman represents devotion, courage, strength, and unwavering faith. Seeking His blessings added another meaningful moment to our visit.
For me, the best part of a spiritual trip is that each temple offers an opportunity to pause and reflect.
We may enter with a busy mind, but those few moments of prayer remind us to slow down, stay strong, and move forward with faith.
One more temple. One more prayer. One more reason to be grateful!
🌊 Thakkan Kulam — A Peaceful Stop
We also visited Thakkan Kulam as part of our Sholingur trip.
After the hill climb and temple visits, it was lovely to include another sacred spot in the journey.
I love trips that combine spirituality with exploring places. Rather than rushing from one destination to another, I enjoy experiencing each stop and appreciating the little things along the way.
That is what makes a one-day trip feel complete — not just the main destination, but all the special moments in between.
🚗 Next Stop — Thirupachur, Lord Shiva's Temple
After completing our Sholingur visit, we continued our journey towards Thirupachur Lord Shiva Temple.
From Lord Narasimhar's hilltop shrine to Lord Shiva's sacred temple, the day was filled with devotion and gratitude.
Visiting two different temples in a single day felt like a beautiful spiritual journey.
Lord Shiva is associated with peace, transformation, and the deeper meaning of life. The opportunity to visit His temple was another moment to pause, offer prayers, and feel thankful.
There is no need for elaborate words when it comes to faith. Sometimes, a simple prayer from the heart is enough.
Om Namah Shivaya! 🙏
The journey was not about covering as many kilometres as possible. It was about spending the day meaningfully, visiting sacred places, and enjoying the experience without rushing through life.
❤️ What Made This Trip Special?
For me, this trip was a beautiful reminder of the things I truly enjoy.
🌿 Travel and exploration: Discovering places beyond my regular routine.
🥾 A little adventure: Climbing the Sholingur hill and enjoying the sense of achievement.
🙏 Spiritual connection: Seeking the blessings of Lord Narasimhar, Hanuman, and Lord Shiva.
🚗 Road-trip happiness: Starting early and enjoying the journey by car.
🧘♀️ Peace of mind: Taking a break from everyday activities and spending time in a spiritual environment.
❤️ Gratitude: Appreciating the opportunity to travel, pray, explore, and create memories.
I don't believe every trip needs to be expensive or last several days to be memorable. Sometimes, one beautiful day is enough to recharge our minds and bring a smile to our faces.
🌸 My Little Life Lesson from This Divine Trip
Life is a journey, much like climbing a hill.
We take one step at a time. Sometimes we feel energetic; sometimes we feel tired. Sometimes the destination seems far away, but we continue moving forward.
And when we finally reach the top, we realise that the journey itself has taught us something.
For me, this trip was a reminder to:
Keep moving forward, one step at a time.
Make time for faith, peace, and gratitude.
Explore new places whenever possible.
Enjoy simple experiences without expecting everything to be perfect.
Stay cool, stay grounded, and appreciate what life offers.
After all, happiness does not always come from big achievements. Sometimes, it comes from a quiet prayer, an early morning drive, a hilltop darshan, and a day spent doing what we love.
❤️ Until the Next Divine Journey!
Our one-day trip to Sholingur and Thirupachur will remain a beautiful memory — a day of climbing, prayers, temple visits, travel, and gratitude.
Two sacred destinations, wonderful moments, and a heart filled with devotion.
I came back with more than just memories of places visited. I came back with the happiness of having spent a day doing something meaningful.
And that is my kind of travel — a little adventure, a little spirituality, plenty of exploring, and lots of gratitude!
Because life is not just about working, achieving, and running behind the next milestone. It is also about pausing, travelling, praying, enjoying our own little adventures, and being thankful for the journey.
One day. Two temples. A beautiful climb. Countless blessings. Memories forever. ❤️🙏
