Delhi was not just another stop in my journey; it felt like walking through centuries of history while being surrounded by devotion, culture, and vibrant city life. Every street had a story, every monument had witnessed history, and every temple filled my heart with peace.
And like every beautiful journey of mine, this Delhi chapter also began with Lord Balaji's blessings. 🙏✨
🌸 Day 1 – Beginning with Divine Blessings & Exploring New Delhi 🌸
🙏 Seeking Blessings at TTD Sri Venkateswara (Lord Balaji) Temple
The very first place I visited in Delhi was the TTD Sri Venkateswara Temple.Being a devotee of Lord Balaji, I always feel a sense of comfort and happiness whenever I visit His temple, no matter where I am. The peaceful chants, divine atmosphere, and beautiful darshan instantly made me feel at home.
Starting my Delhi journey with Lord Balaji's blessings felt truly special and set the perfect tone for the days ahead.
🕉️ Peaceful Moments at ISKCON Temple
After seeking blessings from Lord Balaji, I headed to the beautiful ISKCON Temple.
The soothing bhajans, serene surroundings, and positive energy made me slow down and simply enjoy the moment. The temple was filled with devotion, music, and an atmosphere of immense peace.
🌺 Mesmerized by the Grandeur of Akshardham Temple
Next came one of the most magnificent places in Delhi—Akshardham Temple.
The intricate carvings, beautiful gardens, and spiritual ambience left me speechless. Every corner of this temple reflects India's rich heritage and devotion.
I could have spent hours simply admiring its beauty.
🇮🇳 Walking Through the Heart of Delhi – India Gate & Kartavya Path
As evening approached, I visited the iconic India Gate and walked along Kartavya Path.
Watching the tricolour flutter proudly and seeing families, travellers, and locals enjoying the evening made the entire place feel lively and beautiful.
Delhi truly comes alive during sunset.
🪖 Paying Tribute at the National War Memorial
Right beside India Gate, I visited the National War Memorial.
Walking through the memorial and reading about the bravery and sacrifices of our soldiers filled my heart with pride and gratitude.
Some places make us realise the true meaning of courage.
🏛️ Exploring Bharat Mandapam
The beautifully designed Bharat Mandapam perfectly showcases India's modern aspirations while staying deeply rooted in culture and tradition.
Its grand architecture beautifully represents the evolving face of India.
🌙 Delhi Evenings
As the city lights slowly illuminated the streets, Delhi looked absolutely magical.
The wide roads, illuminated monuments, bustling cafes, and energetic atmosphere made me fall in love with the city even more.
🌼 Day 2 – Time Travelling Through Old Delhi 🌼
The second day was all about exploring the timeless charm of Old Delhi.
🚶 Wandering Around Ajmeri Gate & Old Delhi Streets
The narrow lanes, colourful markets, heritage buildings, and endless energy around Ajmeri Gate immediately transported me to another era.
Every corner felt alive with stories, traditions, and culture.
🕌 Experiencing Delhi's Historic Mosques
No visit to Old Delhi is complete without admiring its beautiful mosques and Islamic architecture.
Walking around the areas near Jama Masjid, one of India's largest and most magnificent mosques, was an incredible experience. The grandeur of the structure and the old-world charm surrounding it made me appreciate Delhi's rich cultural diversity even more.
🏰 The Majestic Red Fort
Standing before the magnificent Red Fort was truly special.
The towering red sandstone walls and grand architecture beautifully narrate stories of the Mughal era and India's glorious past.
Walking around the fort felt like stepping into history itself.
🏛️ Exploring Museums & Heritage Buildings
Delhi is a paradise for history lovers.
From museums showcasing India's freedom struggle and heritage to colonial-era buildings and government structures, every place beautifully reflects India's journey through time.
The city effortlessly blends ancient history with modern life.
🌺 Birla Mandir – Peace Amidst the Chaos
After a busy morning, I visited the serene Birla Mandir.
🌸 Kali Bari Temple – Divine Energy & Positivity
The vibrant atmosphere of Kali Bari Temple added another beautiful spiritual experience to my Delhi journey.
The temple radiated immense positivity and devotion.
☸️ Finding Calm at the Buddha Temple
One of my favourite moments of the day was visiting the peaceful Buddha Temple.
The colourful surroundings, serene atmosphere, and calm energy made it the perfect place to pause and simply enjoy the present moment.
🏛️ Exploring Gole Market & Colonial Delhi
Later, I explored the areas around Gole Market, admiring the old colonial buildings and charming streets that still retain the essence of old Delhi.
It was fascinating to see how beautifully Delhi preserves its heritage while continuously evolving.
✨ Delhi – A City of Contrasts & Beautiful Memories ✨
Delhi surprised me in so many ways.
One moment I was standing inside centuries-old forts and mosques, and the next moment I was admiring modern architecture. One moment I was lost in crowded markets, and the next moment I found myself sitting peacefully inside a temple.
From Lord Balaji's blessings to historical monuments, vibrant markets, beautiful temples, museums, mosques, and colourful streets, Delhi offered me a little bit of everything.
Delhi is not just a city.
It is an experience.
It is history, devotion, culture, diversity, and timeless beauty all woven together into one unforgettable journey.
