# 🌅 Kumbakonam Day 1 – Evening

## **When the Evening Became Divine… 🛕✨** ### *A little rest, a lot of temples, and a heart full of gratitude* After a beautiful and temple-filled first half of the day, I finally decided to **pause**. By the time I finished lunch, my body was asking for a little rest. So I went back to my room, put my feet up and simply relaxed until around **4 PM**. No hurry. No plans running through my head. Just some quiet **“me time.”** ❤️ And then, at 4 PM … I was ready again. **The second half of my divine journey began.** 🌸 --- ## 🙏 A Darshan That Felt Like Coming Home – Uppiliappan I started the evening by going back to **Uppiliappan Temple**. Sometimes, visiting a temple once doesn't feel enough. Also temple’s sweet lovely pet ‘🐘 Booma ❤️ ‘ is one more awesome and lovely thing about the temple 🙏🏻 You may have had darshan in the morning, but something inside says, > **“Go once more.”** So I did. Standing before Uppiliappan once again in the evening felt peaceful and deeply comfort...

## 🌿 Day 1 - Morning at Kumbakonam — A Journey of Faith, Roads & Beautiful Darshans🙏🏻

Some journeys are not about how many kilometres you travel. They are about **how peaceful your heart feels when you return.** ❤️🙏 My Day 1 in and around **Kumbakonam** was exactly that — a beautiful blend of **divine darshans, peaceful temple towns, a lovely car journey, delicious food and those little moments of happiness along the way.** ### 🛕 The journey began with Uppiliappan My first beautiful darshan was at **Arulmigu Sri Oppiliappan Temple**, near Thirunageswaram. Standing before **Sri Uppiliappan Perumal**, I felt that familiar sense of calm that comes only when we leave everything behind for a while and simply surrender. Uppiliappan is traditionally known as the Lord to whom **salt is not offered**, and the temple is one of the important Vaishnava pilgrimage centres around Kumbakonam.  **One darshan. One prayer. One peaceful heart.** 🙏 --- ## 🏹 Vaduvur — A beautiful encounter with Sri Rama From there, the journey continued towards **Vaduvur Sri Kothandaramaswamy Temple...

🎉❤️ Radio + Me + Music + Coffee + Book + Mottai Madi ❤️🎉

A little escape to my good old days…  📻☕📖🌙 There are some combinations in life that just feel  perfect . For me, it is not an expensive vacation. Not a fancy café. Not a crowded party. It is simply… Radio + Me + Music + Coffee + Book + Mottai Madi.  ❤️ And suddenly, life feels lighter. 😊 📻 Radio Mirchi… My Little Time Machine! ❤️ There is something magical about listening to  Radio Mirchi . The RJ's voice, the random conversations, the songs that suddenly take you back to another time… everything has a different charm. Sometimes I don't even need to choose a playlist. I just switch on the radio and let the music decide where my mind wants to go. 🎶 One song reminds me of school days. Another takes me back to college. Some songs bring back friendships. Some bring back beautiful memories. And some? They simply make me smile.  ❤️ ☕ Coffee + Radio = Perfect Combo 🎉 Give me a hot cup of coffee, my radio and some peaceful time… What else do I need?  😍 The ...

❤️ Pullaiyar / Ganesha Chatruthi - Ganesha Visarjan 🙏🏻

Ganesha Visarjan   has a beautiful meaning behind it. It isn't really about “throwing Ganesha away.” It represents   welcoming the divine, receiving blessings, and then lovingly letting go.   🙏🐘🌺 🌸 Why do we bring Ganesha home? During Ganesh Chaturthi, we invite Lord Ganesha into our home and worship Him as a beloved guest and deity. We ask for His blessings for  wisdom, prosperity, happiness, and the removal of obstacles . The idol gives us a physical form through which we can focus our devotion. 🌊 Why immerse Him in water? The immersion represents  returning Ganesha to His cosmic/natural source . Traditionally, idols were made from  clay (earth) . The clay idol dissolves back into water and eventually becomes part of nature again. There is a deeper philosophical message: What comes from nature eventually returns to nature. It reminds us that everything in the physical world is temporary — including our bodies, possessions, situations and even our att...

✨ My Pondy Trip in One Line - simply being ME. ❤️ Travel. Live. Explore. Repeat

🌿 3 Days. One Bike. A Little Pondy. A Lot of Memories. ❤️ Chennai → Pondicherry → Auroville → Cuddalore → Pondy → Chennai Good food. Good people. Good vibes. A little rain. A little temple. A little beach. A lot of walking. And plenty of unexpected memories. Sometimes, you don't need a long vacation to feel completely refreshed. Sometimes, three days are enough. You just need a bike, a backpack, a good friend, an open mind and a place that lets you slow down. And that is exactly what this Pondy trip turned out to be. 🏍️ Day 1 — Chennai to Auroville The plan was simple. Start from Chennai early morning, ride towards Pondy, check into Freedom Home Backpackers Hostel inside Auroville , and then just go with the flow. No rushing. No complicated itinerary. No ticking off places just for the sake of saying “I visited.” Just travel, explore, relax and enjoy. The bike ride from Chennai to Pondy itself felt like the beginning of a little escape. Once I reached Auroville, everything slow...
